Shiny Chemical Chairman Sun Ching-yuan led staff in the groundbreaking ceremony on February 5^th, 2014, and prayed for a smooth construction project and a better year ahead for the Company.

In his ceremony speech, Chairman Sun set the yearly goal with the word “Surpass” for everyone at Shiny Chemical, hoping the Company surpasses its past and sets more records, as it has been doing since 2009.

Shiny Chemical was awarded the “Industrial Sustainable Excellence Award” by the Industrial Development Bureau, and that, according to Chairman Sun, is a special acknowledgement in that the award focuses on industrial safety, environment, energy saving, corporate governance, technology innovation and so on. Being awarded means Shiny Chemical is a company with a sound organization and steady growth.

Chairman Sun expects all members of Shiny Chemical to pursue growth for the Company and themselves. “Surpass” means being left behind when not achieved, and that is what Chairman wants for Shiny Chemical, for it can only grow when everyone does their best in the Company.

Chairman Sun also indicated, energy conservation, emissions reduction, environmental protection, eco-friendliness, and protection of Earth have become the main concerns across the globe as a result of global warming and climate change. As a highly energy-consuming industry, the chemical engineering industry has become the prime target and concern in the industry. Therefore, we must make greater effort in product R&D, hoping to reducing pollution and threats to ecology with eco-friendlier products through technology innovation. This is our mission and the social responsibility that enterprises shall not shirk.
