Among fierce competition since enrollment in July 2014, Shiny Chemical was awarded the 2^nd “Taiwan Mittlestand Enterprise” organized by the Ministry of Economic Affairs, and was selected as an enterprise worthy of guidance and counseling. Certificate of the award is an acknowledgement of Shiny Chemical’s excellent performance and contribution to Taiwan’s economy and employment.

The “Taiwan Mittlestand Enterprise” program, approved by the Executive Yuan on October 8^th, 2012, was modeled after Germany’s “Hidden Champion.” It aims to develops key technologies and elevate local businesses’ competitiveness in the global market. Enterprises chosen in the program operate or manufacture mainly in Taiwan in order to strengthen industry competitiveness and help secure Taiwan’s key position in a global market.

A total of 183 enterprises enrolled for the 2nd “Taiwan Mittlestand Award,” and Shiny Chemical was chosen, among 68 other enterprises, as an enterprise worthy of guidance and counseling.

According to the MOE, all of the selected enterprises focus on and excel at their fields of profession, and have the potential to become excellent Mittlestand Enterprises. The MOE hopes to see Shiny Chemical’s further efforts in its business operation, and looks forward to its enrollment for the following year’s “Taiwan Mittelstand Award.” The 10 enterprises selected this year (2012) include: LCY Chemical Group, Eternal Chemical, Habor Precise Inc., Merida, The Syscom Group, CyberLink, Elan Microelectronics Corp., Chmer EDM, Sheico Group, Win Semiconductors Corp.
